Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Recruitment of a Firm for the Training of Women-LED Cooperatives. The objective of the We-Fi is to address financial/ non-financial constraints faced by women-owned/led SMEs in IDA and IBRD eligible countries and territories. The CIV WeFi project specifically aims to improve women-led cooperatives and SME access to markets and financial products and services. The Project will focus on improving access to markets and financial products and services for women-led cooperatives and SMEs in agricultural value chains. The project design includes 2 components: 1 - Increasing market access for women-led cooperatives and SMEs in agricultural value chains 2 - Increasing access to finance for women-led cooperatives and SMEs. The Project undertook a rapid industry structural analysis of the horticulture sector. This analysis was conducted in Gbêkê and San Pedro regions and identified a need for technical capacity building through training for the 22 cooperatives surveyed. These TORs are designed to recruit a consultant or a firm that will conduct this train The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications. Qualification Criteria 1. Technical planning that will allow the objectives to be achieved in an efficient manner 2. Timeline, which will clearly reflect all major activities and their timelines 3. Summary of the proposed methodology 4. Key elements to be included in the training modules 5. Consultant profiles (summary of team members should be attached along with their CV and relevant experience) 6. Details on the estimated costs to execute this mandate. It should include, but not be limited to: human resources (training development, planning and execution); operational costs such as travel and accommodation. It is important to note that these details will be discussed during negotiations between the World Bank project team and the selected firm.
