Description:
The objective of the consultant's mission is to provide assistance to the financial management team in managing the portfolios of countries in the West and Central Africa region, which includes Senegal, Mali, Benin, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Togo, Guinea-Bissau, Cape Verde, Liberia, Gambia, Sierra Leone, Ghana, and Niger. The consultant will establish an IT tool to track audit recommendations, conduct national or sectoral diagnostic studies, provide technical support for strengthening financial management systems, and support project audit reviews. The consultant will also conduct capacity building activities, including workshops and training for project staff and auditors, and will be responsible for evaluating project financial management systems and ensuring compliance with the Bank's financial management requirements.
